Refinishing
of your Gunstock
Stripping
of the Stock - Removing old Finish $30 to $100,
Most are $70 Polyurethane finishes are $100
Apply
new filled/rubbed oil finish
Simple oil finish- pores not filled, stripped, sanded, repaired, stained,
, checkering not repointed (taped off to protect, resealed) 60.00 and
up -thumbholes, mannlichers add 15.00
Stock makers oil finish- As above but pores filled, hand rubbed satin
finish 150.00 -thumbholes, mannlichers add 60.00
Large Military stocks are slightly higher, cost includes repairing minor
cracks, filling gouges and lifting dents. $150
Re-cut Checkering (It all depends on pattern, lines per inch, and how
much of the original checkering is gone) $60 to $200
The average stock with average used checkering costs $125.
Repair Broken Stock (does not include refinish or checkering. $60 - $100
Remove Oil From Stock $30 to $80

Glass-bedding
Simple
hunter/factory bedding- a single pad of bedding compound
is put by the recoil pad- barrel free floated, resealed-morticing
resealed (most factory stocks are not sealed at the action)

Full action bedding- As above, but your action is sitting on a full length
bed of bedding compound. 95.00
Pillar bed- Barrel channel free floated, barrel, action morticing all
resealed. Aluminum pillars epoxied in place. 135.00
Pillar bedded full action bed- 195.00
